I can finally say this out loud. I have released my first book, Design System Thinking.
This book goes beyond isolated UI decisions and component libraries. It explores how to design systems that bring order to product chaos, align teams around shared standards, and support long-term product growth without fragmentation or design debt.
Drawing on more than two decades of hands-on experience, this book presents a systemic approach to architecture, governance, documentation, and adoption. It reflects the realities of working with complex platforms, distributed teams, and evolving codebases that must scale without losing clarity or consistency.
This book is written for professionals working with real products and complex systems. Not as a tool tutorial, but as a system framework.
But more importantly, this book is the quintessence of my 20-year career in design. I’ve worked across many disciplines, explored different directions, and learned from each of them. Over time, one thing became clear: attention to detail, care, logic, and consistency are what allow products and teams to truly scale. Design systems became the natural outcome of this mindset. A way to turn all of that experience into a practical framework that helps real teams build better products.
